Basketball Game Preview: Mount View Golden Knights vs. Mingo Central Miners

The Mount View Golden Knights will head out on the road to square off against the Mingo Central Miners at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.

Back in December of 2024, Mount View had to suffer through a 67-33 loss at the hands of Mingo Central. The Golden Knights haven't had much luck with the Miners recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.

Mingo Central's win came from a few key players Mount View will need to keep an eye on. One of the most notable was Addie Smith, who went 6 for 10 from beyond the arc on her way to 26 points in addition to six boards and five assists. Her evening made it 18 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Bailey, who went 7 of 12 on her way to 15 points along with seven rebounds and three steals.

Mount View's defeat dropped their record down to 1-4. As for Mingo Central, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 6-3.
