Basketball Recap: Woodland Takes a Loss

On Friday, the Woodland Wolves had to suffer through a 78-46 loss at the hands of the Davis Sr. Blue Devils. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Davis Sr.'s success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but DJ Michel led the charge by putting up eight points and five rebounds. Those eight points gave Michel a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Rhys Crawford, who posted 13 points and seven rebounds.

Woodland's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Davis Sr., they moved to 1-4 with that win, which also ended their four-game losing streak.

Woodland didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 57-41 defeat against Mira Loma on the 10th. As for Davis Sr., they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 71-57 victory against Bella Vista on the 12th.
