You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Centura's strategy against Shelby-Rising City on Monday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Centura Centurions blew the Shelby-Rising City Huskies out of the water with a 52-11 final score. The Centurions pushed the score to 46-6 by the end of the third, a deficit the Huskies had no chance of recovering from.

Centura's win was their sixth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-11. Those victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 25.3 points over those games.
