Volleyball Recap: Fort Wayne Wayne Takes a Loss

Fort Wayne Wayne lost against Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran back in April of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Generals fell 2-0 to the Cadets.

The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 25-13.

Fort Wayne Wayne's offense was headlined by Ben Lallow and Elijah McKinney, who picked up four kills apiece. They got some help from Jackson Hickey and his nine assists.

Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran was led to victory by Aaron Linder and Mason Pankop. Linder had four aces, while Pankop had five aces and four digs. Pankop is also crushing it when it comes to assists: he's posted at least 12 every time he's taken the court this season. Chyim Van Meter also deserves some recognition as he posted his first assist of the season.

Fort Wayne Wayne's defeat dropped their record down to 4-9. As for Fort Wayne Concordia Lutheran, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-6.
