Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Cascade Christian walked away with it. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 3-2 win over the Burns Hilanders on Friday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Challengers have posted since September 27th.

Cascade Christian got the W, but it wasn't easy, at least in the third set. The final score came out to 15-26, 25-16, 30-28, 23-25, 15-11.

When it comes to explaining why Burns lost, don't look at Bailey Temple. Despite the final result, she had 30 digs and two aces. Temple is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 13 or more in each of the last three games she's played.

Cascade Christian is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-6 record this season. As for Burns, their loss ended a 20-match streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 39-2-1.
