Softball Recap: South Williamsport Now 12-3 over Last 15 Games

South Williamsport had already proven themselves in the regular season and they didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 4-2 win over the West Shamokin Wolves on Thursday. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Mountaineers have posted since March 26th.

South Williamsport has been performing well recently as they've won 12 of their last 15 matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 17-5 record this season. The team dominated over that stretch too, winning by an average of 8.6 runs. As for West Shamokin, with the defeat, they broke their seven-game winning streak and moved their record to 20-5.

As of now, neither South Williamsport nor the Wolves have any future games scheduled.
