Basketball Recap: Jarrell Comes Up Short

Jarrell was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They fell 55-44 to the Lake Belton Broncos. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 63-61 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Jarrell's loss dropped their record down to 4-8. As for Lake Belton, they moved to 7-7 with that victory, which also ended their five-game losing streak.

Jarrell will be home for the holidays to greet Llano at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Lake Belton, they won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Sulphur Springs at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
