Showstopping moves, tremendous second efforts and great downfield blocking make these scampers worth another look.
Earlier this week, we tackled the Top 10 High School Football Plays of the Year with an amazing array of showstopping moments from 2021. Today, we dive deeper for the Top 10 High School Football Runs of the Year.
And these 10 plays are indeed remarkable. With one pass play that's included for the ridiculous yards after the catch gained, the runs on this highlight reel are a timely tribute to the late John Madden, who would indeed describe many of them with his trademark "BOOM!" as the ball carriers work toward pay dirt.
Many of the runs include impressive second efforts, stop-on-a-dime juke moves and, of course, tremendous downfield blocking by both the wide receivers and the big fellas.
