Basketball Recap: Example Academy National Comes Up Short in High-Profile Matchup with Western Reserve Academy

Example Academy National is ranked highly in their home state and on Saturday they took on another highly ranked team in the form of Western Reserve Academy. The Example Academy National Eagles lost 76-53 to the Western Reserve Academy Pioneers. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Pioneers earlier this season, when they won 56-55.

Brooklyn Hall continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Western Reserve Academy, almost dropping a double-double with 19 points and nine rebounds. The dominant performance also gave Hall a new career-high in assists (eight). Maya Nahar was another key player, going 5-for-7 to rack up 12 points in addition to six boards and four blocks.
