Volleyball Recap: Gateway Find Success

Gateway posted their closest victory since March 18th on Saturday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 win over the Thomas MacLaren School Highlanders.

Gateway had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next two. The match finished with set scores of 16-25, 27-25, 15-7.

Gateway's victory bumped their record up to 7-11. As for Thomas MacLaren School, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-7.

Coming up, Gateway is taking a road trip to challenge DSST: Cedar at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Olympians surely won't give up without a fight. As for Thomas MacLaren School, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Colorado Springs Christian at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
