Shorewood's game on Monday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Saturday. They were the clear victors by a 7-1 margin over the Wauwatosa West Trojans. Considering the Greyhounds have won five contests by more than five runs this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

Braylen White was incredible, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and three runs. That's the most stolen bases he has posted since back in May of 2024. Another player making a difference was Owen McLellan, who got on base in three of his four plate appearances with two stolen bases and two runs.

Shorewood picked up their first road win, bumping their record up to 5-2. As for Wauwatosa West, they are on a nine-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-8.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Shorewood will square off against Cudahy at 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday. The Greyhounds are facing the Packers at the right time seeing as the Packers are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Wauwatosa West, they will take on Germantown at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
