Volleyball Recap: Basic Takes a Loss + How To Watch

Basic managed to slip by Southeast Career Tech the last time these teams faced off, but didn't have those same answers this time around. The Wolves lost 3-0 to the Roadrunners on Tuesday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

While Basic had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-19, 25-22, 25-22.

Southeast Career Tech was led to victory by Jazmin Evenden and Mikaela Fellows. Evenden had 11 digs and one assist, while Fellows had five digs and three aces.

Basic's defeat dropped their record down to 9-15. As for Southeast Career Tech, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-10 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Basic is set to take on their familiar foe Valley at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Southeast Career Tech will square off against rival Silverado at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
