Basketball Recap: Make It Seven in a Row for North Posey

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but North Posey had no problem doing just that on Friday. They strolled past the South Spencer Rebels with points to spare, taking the game 56-41. Given the Vikings' advantage in MaxPreps' Indiana basketball rankings (they are ranked 61st, while the Rebels are ranked 213th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

The win (which was North Posey's seventh in a row) raised their record to 18-6. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 56.9 points over those games. As for South Spencer, they now have a losing record at 12-13.

Coming up, North Posey and Perry Central will face off at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday without much rest having both just played. South Spencer does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
