Basketball Recap: Blissfield Comes Up Short

Blissfield lost against St. Mary Catholic Central back in February of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Blissfield Royals had to suffer through a 85-48 loss at the hands of the St. Mary Catholic Central Falcons/Kestrels. The Royals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Blissfield now has a losing record at 7-8. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 9-2.

Blissfield will square off against Onsted at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Onsted knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past 11 matchups -- so hopefully Blissfield likes a good challenge. As for St. Mary Catholic Central, they will take on Grosse Ile at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in St. Mary Catholic Central's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last eight games.
