Soccer Recap: Palm Bay Finishes Even with Space Coast

For the first time this season, Palm Bay was forced to settle for a draw. They and the Space Coast Vipers finished up their contest with a 1-1 draw on Monday.

Palm Bay's goal came courtesy of Luis Gomes, which was the first he's scored this season.

With that draw, Palm Bay's record moves to 1-8-1. As for Space Coast, they moved theirs to 4-5-1.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Palm Bay and Astronaut will compete for holiday cheer at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Space Coast, they won't get a chance for a more definitive result for a while: they'll take on Cocoa at 7:00 p.m. on January 14, 2025. Space Coast is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 3.1 goals per game this season.
