Soccer Recap: Jasper-Troupsburg Takes a Loss

Jasper-Troupsburg lost against Canisteo-Greenwood back in October of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Wildcats came up short against the Chargers, falling 7-0. While losing is never fun, Jasper-Troupsburg can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York soccer rankings (they are ranked 337th, while Canisteo-Greenwood are ranked 111th).

Jasper-Troupsburg has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-7 record this season. As for Canisteo-Greenwood, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-2.

Looking ahead, Jasper-Troupsburg will head out on the road to square off against Andover at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Canisteo-Greenwood, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hammondsport at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
