Soccer Recap: Pecos Comes Up Short

Pecos was the 6-0 winner over Liberty when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Pecos Eagles fell just short of the Liberty Patriots by a score of 1-0 on Friday. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The loss was their first on the road , dropping their record down to 3-3-1. As for Liberty, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-7.

Coming up, Pecos will take on Snyder at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Liberty, they will face off against Estacado at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Liberty's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
