Dorman faced Wando in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Saturday. The Cavaliers walked away with a 2-0 victory over the Warriors. The win continues a trend for the Cavaliers in their matchups with the Warriors: they've now won five in a row.

Maggie Helle paced Dorman's offense, picking up seven kills. Helle got some help from Ramsey Larke Chastain and her 11 assists. Helle was also a major player on defense: she and she shared the team lead in blocks, finishing with two each.

Dorman's victory bumped their record up to 18-4. As for Wando, with the loss, they broke their seven-match winning streak and moved their record to 17-7.
