Montville was the team that gained the most ground in the standings this week, jumping from fourth to second in Eastern Connecticut - Medium. The Indians beat Plainfield 48-20 earlier in the week.

Adding to the longest winning streak in the league this week, Ledyard beat New London 21-3. The victory was the fourth in a row for the Colonels.

Connor Lemley was a key player and the best on defense this week as Killingly lost to Bacon Academy. The 5-foot-11 sophomore grabbed 1 sack.

Nate Kozlowski put up the best numbers in passing as the Bobcats topped the Redmen. He finished with a total of 12 completions for 148 yards and 1 touchdown. Kozlowski's favorite target this week was Jake Bartha, who caught 3 passes for 41 yards.

Bacon Academy's Kozlowski and Ryan Duclos have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Kozlowski has thrown for 827 yards this season, while Duclos has 21 catches for 505 yards. Killingly's Tyler Stucke leads the league in rushing yards with 358.

Montville took down the Panthers 48-20 last week, the largest margin of any game.
