Basketball Recap: Gustine Takes a Loss

Gustine was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They were a single point away from ending the streak, but they lost a 1-0 heartbreaker at the hands of the Rising Star Wildcats. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Tigers this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 1-0 back in January.

Gustine's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Rising Star, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 16-10.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Cross Plains the next time they take the court. Rising Star will head out to face Cross Plains at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, while Gustine will host them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
