Volleyball Recap: Chapmanville Regional Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Chapmanville Regional can now relate to. They lost 3-0 to the Winfield Generals on Tuesday. If the Tigers were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Generals when the teams met back in November of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

The match finished with set scores of 25-9, 25-8, 25-10.

Chapmanville Regional has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-21 record this season. As for Winfield, they have been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 33-12-2 record this season.

Coincidentally, Chapmanville Regional and Winfield will both be playing St. Albans the next time they take the court. The Generals will host the Red Dragons at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, while the Tigers will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
