Atlantic Coast had already won five in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 8.8 runs) and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They walked away with a 6-3 victory over the Mandarin Mustangs. That's more bragging rights for the Stingrays, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Atlantic Coast's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was Anthony Selejan, who scored two runs and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Atlantic Coast's record now sits at 14-8. As for Mandarin, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-11.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Atlantic Coast will host First Coast at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. The Buccaneers' pitching crew has only allowed four runs per game this season, so the Stingrays' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for Mandarin, they will be playing at home against Paxon School For Advanced Studies at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
