Basketball Recap: Berkeley Piles Up the Points Against AIMS College Prep

You can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Berkeley's strategy against AIMS College Prep on Saturday. Given that consistent dominance, it should come as no surprise that the Yellowjackets blew the Golden Eagles out of the water with an 86-19 final score. The contest was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 61-11.

Several Golden Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marcell Saliba-Coffey, who posted seven points.

Berkeley's win was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 1-1. Those home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 68.3 points over those games.
