Basketball Game Preview: Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves vs. Williams Bulldogs

Cedar Ridge hasn't had much luck against Williams recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Cedar Ridge Fighting Red Wolves will take on the Williams Bulldogs at 6:00 p.m.

Cedar Ridge is headed into the game out to prove that what happened against Western Alamance on Friday (when they were outscored in every quarter) was just a minor bump in the road. Cedar Ridge was outmatched by Western Alamance and fell 59-13. The Fighting Red Wolves were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 37-9.

Meanwhile, Williams earned a 54-42 win over Providence Grove on Monday. The Bulldogs haven't had any issues with the Patriots recently, as the game was their third consecutive victory against them.

Cedar Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 7-12. As for Williams, their win bumped their record up to 13-8.

Cedar Ridge suffered a grim 57-31 defeat to Williams when the teams last played back in January. Can Cedar Ridge avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
