Recap: Whitney Young Dolphins vs. Simeon Wolverines
The Whitney Young Dolphins had already proven themselves in the regular season, and didn't miss a beat now that it's playoff time. They didn't even let Simeon onto the board and left with a 14-0 victory on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Whitney Young.
Whitney Young can attribute much of their success to Anthony Hood, who rushed for 130 yards, and also threw for 52 yards and a touchdown.
Whitney Young has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won eight of their last nine games, which provided a nice bump to their 9-3 record this season. As for Simeon, they have been struggling recently, as they've lost three of their last four matches, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-6 record this season.
Whitney Young will head out on the road to face off against Kenwood at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Kenwood is on a four-game streak of home wins, Whitney Young a four-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the field. Simeon does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
