A well-balanced attack led Community Christian over Columbus Christian in every quarter on their way to victory on Saturday. The Eagles put the hurt on the Crusaders with a sharp 66-41 victory. The win continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Crusaders: they've now won three in a row.

Community Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Brody Back, who went 7-for-15 en route to 17 points and six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Sawyer Briscoe, who shot 60% from the field on his way to 13 points and three steals.

Community Christian's victory bumped their record up to 2-0.

Looking ahead, Community Christian will take on Heartland Christian in a tournament on Friday. As for Columbus Christian, they are headed away from home for the first time to face off against Suburban Christian at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
