Softball Recap: Blue Island Eisenhower Comes Up Short

Blue Island Eisenhower was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their seventh straight defeat. They came up short against the Shepard Astros, falling 15-0. That's two games in a row now that the Cardinals have lost by exactly 15 runs.

Blue Island Eisenhower's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Shepard, the win was the ninth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 18-3.

Coming up, Blue Island Eisenhower will take on Crete-Monee at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Shepard, they will venture away from home to face off against Lincoln-Way West at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
