Basketball Recap: Waverly Takes a Loss

Waverly lost against East Lansing back in December of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Waverly Warriors fell just short of the East Lansing Trojans by a score of 44-42. The Warriors have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Waverly now has a losing record at 7-8. As for East Lansing, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Waverly will challenge Grand Ledge at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East Lansing, they will head out to square off against DeWitt at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
