Softball Recap: Vicksburg Gators vs. Winona Tigers
Vicksburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss. They fell 8-5 to the Winona Tigers.
Vicksburg saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Madisyn Kimble, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one triple. Kimble also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season.
Vicksburg's defeat dropped their record down to 1-18. As for Winona, their victory ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 8-9.
Looking ahead, Vicksburg will head out to take on Riverside at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Winona, they will challenge Columbus at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
