Volleyball Recap: Parkway North Extends Winning Streak to Three

Parkway North entered their tilt with Hazelwood West on Monday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Wildcats. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Parkway North walked away with the win (and looked especially good in the third set). The final score came out to 25-17, 25-21, 25-9.

Caroline Fuehne paced Parkway North's offense, picking up 13 kills. Fuehne got some help from Abby Schrumpf and her 27 assists. Schrumpf was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Parkway North now has a winning record of 9-8. As for Hazelwood West, they are on a 12-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-10.

Parkway North didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 victory against Affton on the 30th. Hazelwood West has also already played their next match (against Clearwater), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
