Basketball Recap: Rapid River Comes Up Short

Rapid River lost against North Dickinson back in February of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Rapid River Rockets were beaten by the North Dickinson Nordics 51-8. The matchup marked the Rockets' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Rapid River has been struggling recently as they've lost seven of their last eight games, which has put a noticeable dent in their 3-13 record this season. As for North Dickinson, their victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-5.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Rapid River will host Munising at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for North Dickinson, they will welcome Carney-Nadeau at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
