Soccer Game Preview: Jemison vs. Wetumpka

The Jemison Panthers are taking a road trip to face off against the Wetumpka Indians at 7:15 p.m. on Thursday. Jemison will be strutting in after a win while Wetumpka will be coming in after a loss.

Jemison proved they can win big on Friday (they won by eight) and on Monday they proved they can win the close ones too. They won by a goal and slipped past Demopolis 2-1.

Meanwhile, Tuesday just wasn't the day for Wetumpka's offense. They lost 5-0 to Dothan on Tuesday. One thing that didn't help Wetumpka's chances was the red card they were dealt courtesy of Emerson Ramirez.

Jemison's victory bumped their record up to 2-0. As for Wetumpka, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-4 record this season.
