Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask North Reading). They walked away with a 68-61 win over the Amesbury Redhawks on Wednesday. For the Hornets, this counts as revenge for the 56-43 victory the Redhawks walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.

The win was their first at home , bumping their record up to 2-3. As for Amesbury, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost five of their last six contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 4-5 record this season.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. North Reading will square off against Essex North Shore Agric & Tech School at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Amesbury has already played their next match (against Manchester Essex), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
