Volleyball Recap: Gahr Comes Up Short

Gahr was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They fell 3-1 to the Downey Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Gladiators of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in March of 2023.

Gahr now has a losing record of 5-6. As for Downey, they pushed their record up to 5-7 with the victory, which was their sixth straight at home dating back to last season.

Coming up, Gahr will host Paramount at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Downey, they will head out on the road to square off against Bellflower at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
