Baseball Recap: Christian Academy's Victory on Saturday Extends Winning Streak to Three

Christian Academy hadn't done well against West Washington recently (they were 1-8 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Saturday. The Warriors came out on top against the Senators by a score of 13-10. The win was nothing new for the Warriors as they're now sitting on three straight.

Adrien Bryson was excellent, going 2-for-4 with one stolen base, two RBI, and one run. Another player making a difference was Jonah Whitehead, who went 1-for-4 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

They weren't the only ones making solid contact: Christian Academy kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 13 hits. That's a new trend for them: they were averaging 5.6 hits per game earlier this season, but in their last 15 games they've averaged 11.4.

The victory got Christian Academy back to even at 6-6. As for West Washington, their loss was their first of the season and makes their record 12-1.

Christian Academy wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-7 win against Trinity Lutheran on the 12th. As for West Washington, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 12-2 defeat against Paoli on the 13th.
