Boyd put their dominant pitchers on display in the team's fourth consecutive shutout on Friday. Everything went their way against the Pilot Point Bearcats as they made off with a 10-0 win. The Yellowjackets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 15 matchups by six runs or more this season.

Boyd's victory was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 25-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 0.6 runs on average over those games. As for Pilot Point, they have been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last ten contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 6-14 record this season.

Boyd will challenge Arlington Heights at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (Boyd 1.4, Arlington Heights 2.5) so any runs scored will be well earned. Pilot Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
