Coffee County Central dropped their record down to 25-13 on Wednesday, which also ended the team's six-game streak of wins. They fell just short of the Page Patriots by a score of  3-2. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Red Raiders of the  7-4 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture  back in April of 2018.
 Coffee County Central saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Paisley Campbell, who  went 2-for-3 with one  RBI.
As for Page, they have  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won seven of their last eight matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 20-5 record  this season. Those  wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.5 runs on average over those games.
On Page's side,  Ashley Johnson spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned runs on four hits.
 On the hitting side, Page got a big performance out of  MacKenzie Smith, who  went 1-for-3 with one  home run and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Anna Johnson, who  went a perfect 2-for-2 with one  stolen base, one  run,  and one  RBI.
 Coffee County Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Page, they will take on Mount Juliet at 6:00  p.m.  on Friday.
