Warren County will head into Friday's game on the come-up: they were handed a 32-point loss in their previous outing, but they didn't let that bad energy affect their game against Social Circle on Friday. Warren County narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past Social Circle 20-17.

Meanwhile, Johnson County got the win against Montgomery County on Friday by a conclusive 27-6. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest victory the Trojans have posted against the Eagles since August 19, 2016.

Tayshawn Norris went supernova for Johnson County, rushing for 146 yards and a touchdown on only 14 carries. Norris' longest rush was for an incredible 73 yards.

Johnson County was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 221 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Montgomery County only rushed for 103.
