Basketball Recap: Lowville Takes a Loss

Lowville was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They took a 63-56 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Waterville Indians. While losing is never fun, the Red Raiders can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 444th, while the Indians are ranked 150th).

Lowville's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Waterville, their win was their 16th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 8-2.

While Lowville had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
