Basketball Recap: Miami Takes a Loss

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Miami can now relate to. They fell 63-55 to the Inola Longhorns on Friday. The loss continues a trend for the Wardogs in their matchups with the Longhorns: they've now lost six in a row.

Despite the defeat, Miami saw an underclassman step up: freshman Lane Walther went 12-for-19 on his way to 27 points. Another player making a difference was Waike Roblyer, who posted eight points and three steals.

Miami's loss dropped their record down to 10-17. As for Inola, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 19-7 record this season.

As of now, neither Miami nor Inola have any future games scheduled.
