 It may have taken  eight innings to finish the job, but Grandview Heights ultimately got the result they hoped for  on Friday. They came out on top against the Bishop Ready Silver Knights by a score of  8-3. That's more bragging rights for Grandview Heights, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.
 For Bishop Ready's part,  Bella Kirk spent all eight innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered  just two earned  (and six unearned) runs on ten hits and racked up seven Ks. Kirk has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in four consecutive pitching appearances.
