Volleyball Game Preview: King City Mustangs vs. Carmel Padres + How To Watch

King City hasn't had much luck against Carmel recently, but that could start to change on Tuesday. The Mustangs will welcome the Padres at 6:00 p.m. Carmel took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on King City, who comes in off a win.

King City took a loss when they played away from home two weeks ago, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed two weeks ago. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over Palma. The Mustangs not only won two weeks ago, but they posted their biggest win since August 28th (when they won 3-0).

King City never let Palma on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The final score came out to 25-21, 26-24, 25-18.

Meanwhile, Carmel lost 3-0 to Salinas on Friday.

Carmel took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-20, 25-22, 25-23.

King City has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 5-4 record this season. As for Carmel, their defeat was their first in the league, dropping their league record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-4.
