Basketball Game Preview: River View Black Bears vs. Coshocton Redskins

River View and Coshocton are an even 5-5 against one another since December of 2019, but not for long. The River View Black Bears will host the Coshocton Redskins at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Keep an eye on the score for this one: both posted some lofty point totals in their previous games.

Last Saturday, it was close, but River View sidestepped West Holmes for a 59-57 win. That's two games straight that the Black Bears have won by exactly two points.

Meanwhile, Coshocton entered their tilt with New Lexington on Saturday with four consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with five. They walked away with a 60-52 victory over the Panthers.

Coshocton had a senior duo take command as Colton Conkle went 7 of 16 en route to 26 points and six rebounds and Alex Taylor went 7 for 10 on his way to 20 points and eight boards. The game was Conkle's 17th in a row with at least ten points. Blayden Workman was another key player, putting up eight points.

River View's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 6-10. As for Coshocton, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 15-2 record this season.
