Basketball Game Preview: Abbeville Panthers vs. South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets

The Abbeville Panthers will take on the South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind Hornets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither of these teams found much success offensively their last time out, scoring well below their season average.

Last Tuesday, a win is a win, as they say, even a pretty close 24-19 win over Dixie.

Amiya McManus was Abbeville's leading scorer, having posted ten points. Ar'Naisyah Gray held things down on the boards with nine rebounds. Lauryn Murray took the lead distributing the ball, coming up with two assists.

Meanwhile, South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 17th straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a blow against Calhoun Falls Charter, falling 64-11. The Hornets were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 34-8.

South Carolina School for the Deaf & Blind's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Abbeville, they now have a winning record of 3-2.
