Ida B. Wells was handed a heart-breaking two-point loss in their last game, but they sure didn't let that happen against Franklin on Friday. The Guardians put the hurt on the Quakers with a sharp 44-20 victory. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Guardians considering their 12-point performance the contest before.

Ida B. Wells' win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Ivan Kos, who rushed for 117 yards and two TDs on only eight carries. Colton Foster helped out on the ground, rushing for 90 yards and a rushing touchdown.

They were just one part of a punishing run game: Ida B. Wells was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 308 rushing yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Franklin only rushed for 96.

When it comes to explaining why Franklin lost, don't look at Rj Hunter. Despite the final result, he picked up 35 receiving yards and one score, and also rushed for 71 yards on only five carries.

Ida B. Wells' record now sits at 2-3. As for Franklin, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-4.
