Basketball Game Preview: Camas Papermakers vs. Union Titans

Camas and Union are an even 5-5 against one another since April of 2021, but not for long. The Camas Papermakers will welcome the Union Titans at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Camas' favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last seven games.

On Monday, Camas blew past Evergreen, posting a 77-47 victory. The Papermakers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six matchups by 20 points or more this season.

Meanwhile, Union came tearing into Monday's contest with six straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 17.8 points) and they left with even more momentum. They narrowly escaped with a win as the team sidled past the Thunder 56-53. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest victory the Titans have posted since February 6, 2024.

Union pushed their record up to 9-2 with the win, which was their third straight at home. As for Camas, their victory bumped their record up to 6-2.

Camas didn't have too much breathing room in their game against Union when the teams last played back in February of 2024, but they still walked away with a 53-49 win. Will Camas repeat their success, or does Union have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
