Mitchell won the last time they faced Rosman and things went their way on Monday too. The Mitchell Mountaineers blew past the Rosman Tigers 48-24. The Mountaineers have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 21 points or more this season.

Mitchell's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Addison Gregory, who dropped a double-double with 12 points and ten boards. Gregory has been hot, having posted nine or more rebounds the last eight times she's played. Another player making a difference was Piper Cook, who posted 13 points.

Mitchell smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 11 offensive boards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least nine offensive rebounds in four consecutive games.

Mitchell has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 12 of their last 14 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-7 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 51.1 points over those games. Rosman has been struggling recently as they've lost nine of their last 11 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-16 record this season.

Mitchell has already played their next game, a 60-28 defeat against Avery County on the 18th. Rosman does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
