After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Greenwich, Danbury was happy to have turned things around on Saturday. Their defense stepped up to hand the Norwalk Bears a 6-0 shutout. Considering Danbury have won four matches by more than four goals this season, Saturday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Norwalk with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Samantha Ruffles (2), Aitana Perez (2), Ava Thatcher, and Isabella Chapleau.

Danbury now has a winning record of 4-3-2. As for Norwalk, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-5.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Danbury will take on rival Ridgefield at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Norwalk is set to face off against their familiar foe Trumbull at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
