Cypress Bay scored the most runs they've had all season to find success on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Taravella Trojans as the Cypress Bay Lightning made off with a 21-3 victory. Cypress Bay might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six contests by six runs or more this season.

Lexi Groenendijk made a splash no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, pitching five innings while giving up three earned runs off four hits. Groenendijk was also solid in the batter's box, scoring three runs while going 2-for-4.

In other batting news, Cypress Bay got a massive performance out of Teresa Foschia, who went 4-for-5 with five RBI, three runs, and a stolen base. Elizabeth Gabante was another key contributor, scoring three runs while going 3-for-4.
