Baseball Recap: Make It Four in a Row for Royall

Royall entered their tilt with Bangor on Thursday with three consecutive wins, and they'll enter their next game with four. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Cardinals a 10-0 shutout. Considering the Panthers have won 11 games by more than five runs this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

Royall's win bumped their record up to 15-4. As for Bangor, their defeat dropped their record down to 10-4.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Royall is set to face off against their familiar foe Brookwood at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Panthers 2.5, the Falcons 3.3) so any runs scored will be well earned. Meanwhile, Bangor will challenge rival Necedah at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. The timing is sure in Bangor's favor as the team sits on three straight wins at home while Necedah has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.
